Chennai: Sibiraj will be acting as hero in a movie titled Mayon. An action adventure, it would be directed by Kishore N.
The highlight of the movie is that it has music by Ilayaraja.
Playing the female lead is Tanya Ravichandran. She was last seen in Vijay Sethupathiās Karuppan in a meaty role where she garnered good reviews for her performance. Though she was tight-lipped about her role in Mayon, the actress said she loved the script on hearing it.
Sources say that it s an action entertainer and, hence, Sibiraj is toning his physique to suit the role. Shooting will begin by the end of this year.
