Santhanam plays the lead role in a movie to be directed by debutant director R Srinivasan, an erstwhile assistant of filmmaker Arivazhagan. The project, which went on floors today, also stars MS Bhaskar in a pivotal role.
The movie is about a father-son relationship.
Produced by RK Entertainment, shooting for the film has been planned in Kumbakonam, Trichy and Chennai. Sam CS will be composing for the project, his first collaboration with Santhanam. Apart from Santhanam and MS Bhaskar, the yet-untitled project also features Sayaji Shinde, Vamsi Krishna and Lollu Sabha Swaminathan in key roles.
Santhanam recently completed work on Parris Jayaraj, his second film with A1-fame Johnson. He was last seen in R Kannan’sBiskoth.
