Bengaluru / Chennai: Former AIADMK chief VK Sasikala is stable and comfortable and being continuously monitored in the intensive care unit (ICU) ward, the Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute said today.
Sasikala had tested positive for Covid-19 on Thursday. She was admitted to the Lady Curzon Hospital after complaints of fever and later shifted to Victoria Hospital in Bengaluru.
Meanwhile, BJP veteran L Ganesan has urged political leaders and the media not to create a hype over the release of Sasikala from the Bengaluru prison after serving a term in the disproportionate assets case.
‘Everyone knows the friendship and loyalty between Jayalalalithaa and Sasikala are incomparable,’ the BJP leader said.
If anyone betrayed the AIADMK and its two leaves symbol, it would amount to an indirect betrayal of Jayalalithaa, he added.
