New Delhi: The farmers’ unions protesting against the three farm laws have announced a five-hour blockade of the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal (KMP) Expressway on Saturday to mark the 100th day of their ongoing agitation.

Apart from this, the farmer leaders have finalised plans till 15 March. On the occasion of International Womens’ Day on 8 March, women protesters will be brought to the front at all the protest sites, they said.

Activist Yogendra Yadav, an active participant in the ongoing farm stir, said, “From March 5, MSP Dilao movement will start in Karnataka, asking PM to ensure MSP for crops.”

He said that farmers will head to poll-bound States and appeal to people to “punish BJP and its allies who brought anti-farmer laws”.

He added: “We will go to the poll-bound states. This programme will begin in Kolkata on 12 March with a public meeting.”

The farmer groups have also made a call to observe 15 March as ‘anti-privatisation day’ along with Central Trade Unions.

“The Unions will mark the day as ‘anti-corporatisation’ day, and extend solidarity to the protests of Trade Unions on that day all over India,” Darshan Pal, representing Samyukt Kisan Morcha said.
