Director Anand Krishnan’s next Kodiyil Oruvan is all set for release this April.
Vijay Antony plays the lead role. Aathmika, Ramachandra Raju, Prabhakar, and many others form part of the cast.
Vijay Antony also does the editing, while the cinematography and music are taken care of by NS Uthaya Kumar and Nivas K Prasanna respectively.
Kodiyil Oruvan is produced by TD Rajha’s Chendur Film International, and the film is locked to release in April.
Says the director,’Kodiyil Oruvan will have a strong content. Vijay Antony plays a tuition master who fights for a cause. It will be a gripping story about issues around us that we fail to notice’.
Aathmika plays a college student and she has enough scope on screen, he adds.
Vijay Antony was very co-operative and made sure everything came good. He never interfered in my work. Even in stunt scenes, he dared to take risks and shoot without using body double’.
Vijay Antony, says, ‘Kodiyil Oruvan is a entertaining and engaging film. I was impressed when Anand Krishnan narrated the story to me.’
‘I choose my films from audience perspective. If it impresses me I readily agree to do it’.
He also briefed about the difficulties shooting for the movie post Covid situation.
He added, ‘Music by Nivas K Prasanna has come good. He is a bundle of talent’.
