Producer’s request to CM

We request Chief Minister MK Stalin to consider the plight of Tamil film industry and initiate measures for its survival, said producer Raveender Chandrasekar of Libra Productions.
In his letter addressed to Chief Minister, he congratulated him for announcing that women cops will not be employed on VIP security duty and made to stand on roads waiting.
He requested Stalin to help revive industry by allowing mini theatres to open across the State that may help small film producers in releasing their films.
Revive former Chief Minister M Karunanidhi’s measure of extending tax relief to movies titled in Tamil and waive off or give concessions on electricity charges and taxes on theatres shut during corona period, he requested.
