Chennai: Seven persons including a pastor have been arrested for running a sex racket under cover of a church in Kanyakumari.
According to reports, the arrested include four women and the pastor named Lal Shine Singh who  was running the church at Jyothi Nagar in ST Mangadu in Kanyakumari district.
Based on information that several young men and women were frequently visiting the church in luxury cars, police started investigation and found that the church was functioning as a brothel.
It is said that when the police raided the place, several women and men getting caught red handed.
Reports added that one of them was a 19 year old girl who was forced into sex work by her own mother. Further investigation is on.
