Chennai: Chief Minister M K Stalin has instructed officials to resolve public grievances on priority basis, especially of those who had submitted petitions under the ‘Ungal Thoguthiyil Mudhalamaichar’ scheme.
Interacting with the Revenue and Disaster Management Department officials, he also directed them to ensure that the issuance of online certificates are fast-tracked, without delay.
Earlier this week, an unprecedented crowd of around 1,500 people from various parts of the city thronged the State Secretariat following an unconfirmed message on social media and a few newspapers that Stalin would be receiving petitions from the public to redress their grievances.
The Chief Minister had earlier announced the creation of a new department ‘CM in your constituency’ that will address people’s grievances within 100 days.
