Chennai: Tamilnadu Health Secretary Dr J Radhakrishnan has requested people of the State to cooperate with the government to prevent Covid-19 third wave in the State.
“Though the government levies fine on people who violate the Covid protocol, there needs to
be a change in the minds of people,” he told the media.
Radhakrishnan added: “People must cooperate with us to prevent the third wave. We should celebrate our festivals safely and not gather as crowds.”
He also said: “I have observed huge crowds at religious places in Chennai. People must prevent crowding.”
