Chennai, Sept 1: ISKCON Chennai invites one and all to celebrate Sri Krishna Janmashtami by visiting the Sri Sri Radha Krishna temple at Akkarai, Sholinganallur (off ECR) on 6th, 7th and 8th September 2023, Wednesday,Thursday and Friday.
A press release said,”On September 6 only Special Darshan -Lord Sri Radha Krishna Darshan at ISKCON ECR Sri Radha Krishna Temple Darshan will be Timings – 8.30 am to 2 pm ,3 pm to 9.30 pm. On September 7, Darshan of Lord Sri Sri Radha Krishna will commence at 7.30am. Throughout the day, there will be Bhajans and kirtan. At 10.30pm, the beautiful Abhishekam of Their Lordships Sri Sri Radha Krishna Chandravali will commence. Arati will be performed at 12 Midnight marking the appearance of Lord Krishna 5000 years ago.and Anukalpa Prasadam.”
“Various exhibits and stalls are being set up to give a memorable experience to visitors of all age groups. There are QA booths, Gita Course on spot registrations and so on. For children and teens there are games and quizzes with instant gifts and prizes, and a discount for registering for the year long sloka class,” the release added.
