Parcel booking offices to be set up in the express bus workshops

Department of Transport said, ‘The preliminary activities for setting up `Parcel Booking Office` in the 22 workshops owned by the Tamil Nadu State Express Transport Corporation. The project of setting up Parcel Booking Offices is under progress in Chennai Metro City, Trichy, Madurai, Coimbatore, Salem, Thanjavur, Thirunelveli, Pudhuchery and Thiruvananthapuram’. At present, booking offices for sending parcels are available only in certain important Bus Stations. As a step to expand this, it is planned to set up `Parcel Booking Offices` in all the Express Bus Workshops.
