Young boy dies of dengue in Maduravoyal

A four-year-old boy who was undergoing treatment at the Institute of Child Health and Hospital for Children for fever died of Dengue in Chennai’s Maduravoyal.The deceased was identified as Rakshan, son of Ayyanar and Sonia in Pillayar Koil Street in Maduravoyal in the city.Meanwhile, Leader of Opposition Edappadi K Palaniswami on Sunday demanded the Tamil Nadu government to intensify its measures to prevent dengue fever”A similar situation prevails across the state, including the State capital. It is strongly condemnable”, said EPS and demanded the Tamil Nadu government to step up its measures to eradicate breeding sources of mosquitoes and prevent the spread of dengue.
