Ration shops in the state of Tamil Nadu will not operate on the 13th and 25th of November. This decision has been made to provide compensation to the staff who diligently worked without a break during the Deepavali Festival.Harsahay Meena, the Commissioner of the Department of Food and Distribution of Food items, issued an order regarding these declared holidays. This directive has been communicated to all District Collectors, Registrars of the Cooperative Associations, and the Managing Director of the Consumer Items Trading Association.
