VHP warns Madurai MP Venkatesan over Sengol comments

The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has issued a warning to Madurai MP Venkatesan, demanding that he retract his allegedly derogatory comments about the Sengol in the Lok Sabha. The VHP has threatened to launch protests against him if he fails to do so.
State General Secretary Chandrasekaran of the VHP stated, “Madurai Marxist MP Venkatesan, who won with the support of the DMK, has been continuously making derogatory remarks against Hindus to appease DMK members. He made offensive comments about the Sengol presented by the Thiruvavaduthurai Adheenam in the Lok Sabha. By doing so, he has insulted Tamilians and Tamil culture. He must retract his statements. If he does not, the VHP will engage in protests.”
Chandrasekaran further warned that the people would teach a fitting lesson to individuals like Venkatesan, who consistently speak against Hindus and Tamil traditions.
