ED Raids Are a Diversion Tactic, Says Deputy CM Udhayanidhi Stalin

Tamil Nadu Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin on Friday accused the BJP-led Union government of using Enforcement Directorate (ED) raids as a distraction from the state’s strong opposition to the three-language policy. He alleged that Tamil Nadu was being targeted for raising issues like denial of due funds and delimitation concerns.
Speaking in Tiruvarur, Udhayanidhi criticized the BJP’s signature campaign on the three-language policy, accusing the party of involving schoolchildren in the issue. He compared it to the DMK’s campaign against NEET, which gathered one crore signatures but did not involve students. “The BJP’s campaign reminds me of their missed-call party enrollment drive,” he remarked.
Regarding the ongoing protests by government employees, Udhayanidhi assured that ministers have been assigned to hold talks, and a solution would be reached soon.
