Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin has secured ₹3,201 crore worth of investments during his trip to Germany. The deals are expected to create 6,250 new jobs in the state.Three major companies signed MoUs with Tamil Nadu:
Knorr-Bremse: The Munich-based braking systems maker will invest ₹2,000 crore to build a plant for railway doors and braking systems. .
Nordex Group: The wind turbine company will invest ₹1,000 crore to expand in Tamil Nadu.
ebm-papst: The motor and air movement solutions firm will invest ₹201 crore over five years to grow its Global Capability Centre and manufacturing base.
Stalin also met BMW Group executives to discuss plans for expanding electric vehicle production in the state.
