Popular cinematographer Prem makes his debut as filmmaker with ‘96’.
The movie stars Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha in lead roles. It is the story of romance between a couple from their high school days.
Says Prem,” ‘96’ does not have the cliched romantic stuff. It is a different kind of a love story. The movie will give a new experience to audiences as well as Vijay Sethupathi’s fans.”
Vijay essays a travel photographer in the movie. Veteran comedian Janagaraj, Devadarshini, Aadulkalam Murugadoss, Kavithalaya Krishnan, Bhagvathy Perumal are also in the cast.
Produced by Nandagopal, the movie releases this September.
