Chennai: DMK president M K Stalin met activist and May 17 Movement coordinator Thirumurugan Gandhi at a private hospital here this morning.
Thirumurugan was released from the Vellore Central Prison 2 October after 53 days of imprisonment.
He was arrested from the Bengaluru airport 9 August, following a lookout notice issued by the police.
The activist had several cases slapped against him, including one of sedition for protesting against the Chennai-Salem Green corridor and Vedantas Sterlite plant in Thoothukudi.
