Chennai: The Volleyball boys team of Velammal Main School, Mogappair campus won the first place by defeating SDAT Khaja Mohideen School with a score of 25\9616, 25\9617 and 25-20 in the finals of Dr Sivanthi Adithanar 68th State Championship Volleyball tournament for boys, held recently at Thangapazham Agricultural college, Vasudevanallur in Tirunelveli.
More than 50 teams took part in this tournament. The winners were given a trophy, medals and certificates.
