Chennai: Telecom enterprise Optiemus Infracom Ltd (also BlackBerry brand licencee) has announced the launch of the BlackBerry KEY2 LE in India. The device will be exclusively available on Amazon.in, starting 12 October.
A release said the device is designed for physical keyboard enthusiasts and offers ‘QWERTY’ keyboard experience at an affordable price. Built for productivity, the new BlackBerry KEY2 LE is amongst the most secure smartphones in the world and runs the latest AndroidTM8.1 Oreo OS, the release added.
Powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core processor and 4GB RAM, the smartphone packs 64GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card. BlackBerry KEY2 LE is equipped with a powerful 3,000 mAh battery that gives over 22 hours of mixed usage.
Equipped with a 13+5MP dual rear camera set-up and an 8MP front camera, the phone offers in-built features likes panoramic selfie mode, selfie enhancements, Google Lens camera integration, and real-time Bokeh mode.

BlackBerry KEY2 LE will be available exclusively on Amazon.in, starting 12 October at a price of Rs 29,990. Interested customers can use ‘Notify Me’ option on Amazon which will start in the first week of November.
Optiemus Infracom recently launched BlackBerry® Evolve that is available from today (10 October) at a cost of Rs 24,990.
