Chennai: Police are searching for two college students who went missing in the Marina beach yesterday.
According to sources, J Prashanth (18), son of Jayashankar, a resident of Pallak Street, Perambur and his friend K Babu alias Dilli Babu, son of Krishnamoorthy of Thiru-Vi-Ka Street went to the beach for a swim at 2 pm yesterday.
They were pursuing B-Com in a private institution. Two other friends were with them when the boys were caught in huge waves and subsequently went missing.
Their friends informed the parents who lodged a complaint with the police. Efforts are on to trace the duo, police said.
