Chennai: The International Federation of Kidney Foundations (IFKF) and Tamilnadu Kidney Research (TANKER) Foundation, Chennai, are organising the 18th IFKF Conference 2018 for three days from 10 December 2018 here at Hotel Savera.
Latha Kumaraswami, managing trustee of Tanker Foundation, said the landmark conference will have experts from India and abroad speaking on Climate Change & Kidney Health, Women & Kidney Health, CKD & Nutrition, Leveraging Social Media for Fund Raising, Awareness & Screening, Global Learning – Transplant & Dialysis, management and fund-raising for foundations and varied other subjects.
Doctors, dialysis technicians, patients, caregivers, nurses, NGOs, donors, kidney foundations can register, says a note from Tanker.
While Tanker, pioneered by Dr R Georgi Abraham, completed 25 years of service, IFKF, helps facilitate in establishing more kidney foundations and helps existing foundations become more dynamic and effective.
The registration charges are $ 150 for international delegates, Rs 3,000 for national delegates and Rs 1,500 for NGOs, technical and nursing staff.
The deadline for pre-conference registration is 30 November, says the release, and adds that it is 10 December for onsite registration.
