Chennai: Young Stars Cricket Academy visited Kerala from 22 to 28 November and played five one day matches winning three, losing one, the other abandoned due to rains.

In the tour batsmen, Thamarai Selvan headed the batting charts scoring 132 runs in 5 innings and K Aravinth headed the bowling averages by claiming 14 wickets at an average of 13.42.

YSCA lost the only T20 match. Matches were played at Thrissur, Kottayam and Tirupunithura. The tour was organised by Kerala Cricket Association.

Results

Athreya CA 267 for 6 in 40 overs (Joffin 117, Sriraj 37, Rojith 44 not out, V Sriram 3 for 41) beat YSCA 169 for 6 in 40 overs (G Nagarajan 44, L Ganesh 41)

YSCA 193 all out in 45.4 overs (S Anandkumar 37, Thamaraiselvan 39, Nipun 3 for 30) beat Athreya CA 85 all out in 29.2 overs ( Anas 26 not out, K Aravinth 4 for 15, V Sriram 2 for 39, L Ganesh 2 for 21, P Sanjaykumar 2 for 0)

KCA 140 all out in 39.2 overs (Ashin 58, K Aravinth 2 for 29, L Ganesh 3for 16, K Aashiq 2 for 25) drew with YSCA 47 for 4 in 16 overs. Rain stops play.

YSCA 185 all out in 44.2 overs (K Aashiq 56, Nashon 4 for 31, Aldour 4 for 26) beat KCA 163 all out in 45 overs ( Nashon 26, K Aravinth 4 for 41, S Daniel 2 for 25)

TCC 60 all out in 22 overs(V Sriram 2 for 11, K Aravinth 3 for 15, L Ganesh 4 for 12) lost to YSCA 63 for 6 in 18.1 overs(Abishek Surendran 3 for 19)

T20 Match

Tirupunithura CC 171 for 5 in 20 overs (Akhil V. Nair 30, Bazith 54 not out, Karthik 35) beat YSCA 116 all out in 17.4 overs( Thamarai Selvan 67, )
