Appayya Dikshita Foundation (ADF), as part of its gho-samrakshna activities, has launched ‘Ghomaya Vibuthi’, at Amarabarathy Kalyana Mandapam, West Tank Street, Thiruvanmiyur, Chennai.
A press release said, Pammal Ramakrishnan, Tamilnadu State president, TAMBRAS, was the chief guest and introduced the product. Professor V Nagarajan, principal, ADF’s Samskrita Patana Kendra, Thiruvanmiyur, enlightened the significance of protecting the cows and their maintenance.
Dr Ramamurthi N, Mukya Adyakshyaka, ADF’s Veda Patana Kendra, emphasised the accurate chanting of Gayatri Mahamantra and its benefits.
To commomerate the vibuthi-launch, Srinivasan, founder, presented a cheque to Kamala Ramamurti, active member of Indian Institute of the Animal Welfare, Neelankarai, towards the maintenance of cows and their protection.
