The valedictory function of 1st CADO GURU an Intercollegiate NCC competition was organised by the NCC (Army Wing) of Guru Nanak college, Velacheri, Chennai.
A press release said, 20 colleges along with 700 cadets participated in the competition, out of which 450 were women and 250 were men cadets.
The Women’s Christian College won the Overall Trophy, while Ethiraj College for Women bagged the Runner up. The chief guest of the event was Manjit Singh Nayar, Assistant Commandant General, Chennai City Home Guards. The two-day event was organised by Dr P Rajan, NCC officer and his team of NCC cadets.
