Chennai: DMK alliance party CPI’s Nagapattinam candidate M Selvarasu taking part in Naam Tamilar Katchi meeting has garnered the attention of political observers.
NTK coordinator Seeman was addressing an election rally in Thiruvarur in support of the party’s Thiruvarur by-poll and Nagapattinam Lok Sabha candidates.
It is said during the meeting, Selvarasu who was passing that side noticed it and attended it. After Seeman completed his speech, Selvarasu reportedly said to have hugged Seeman and had appreciated his speech.
Speaking about the meeting, Selvarasu said, “While returning after my campaign, I watched NTK’s meeting. Seeman was talking about Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the attack on Pakistan. I wanted to listen to it and took part in the meeting. During the previous elections, Seeman had spoken in CPI meetings. This is beyond politics.”
