Actress Keerthy Suresh began shooting for a Telugu film recently. To be directed by Nagesh Kukunoor, it is a women-centric movie and the cast also includes Aadhi and Jagapathi Babu.
Bankrolled by Sudheer Chandra, it will a sports drama. The shooting for the film has begun in Pune. It will have music by Devi Sri Prasad.
Plans are on for a release this September.
Interestingly, Keerthy Suresh’s Bollywood debut is also a sports film. It features Ajay Devgn as hero and is directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma of Badhaai Ho-fame.
This film is about Syed Abdul Rahim, India’s first football coach, and is produced by Boney Kapoor, Akash Chawla and Arunava Joy Sengupta.
