Vellore: Vellore Institute of Technology’s (VIT), Technology Business Incubator initiative (VIT-TBI), will offer a five-day training programme in basic concepts in analytical instrumentation along with hands-on training in various instruments beginning from 13 May.
According to a press release, the training will address the needs of early stage entrepreneurs and individuals planning to start a business venture.
“It will provide an opportunity for graduates in BSc, MSc chemistry, biotechnology, microbiology and research scholars to participate in the training programme and acquire software handling experience in UPLC and HPLC and use of other techniques like Western Blotting, qRT-PCR, 1D & 2D Electrophoresis, Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy and UV-Vis spectroscopy,” the release said.
