Chennai: Two persons were arrested and search is on for three others in connection with stealing of cellphone from am auto driver in Koyambedu.
According to police, Jayakumar (39), an auto driver residing in Broadway had been to Koyambedu. When he was watching a video in his mobile phone, five people in two motorcycles came near him and one among them snatched his phone and escaped.
Jayakumar immediately followed them and managed to catch a couple. They were handed over to police. They were identified as Babu ( 26), a daily wage labourer and a teenager, who works as mechanic. Search is on for three more.
