Chennai: Pankaj Arora has been appointed as the new managing director and CEO at Raheja QBE General Insurance Company Limited.
A release said Arora will be spearheading the company’s plans to develop its capabilities in the fast growing personal lines space by increasing its product bouquet for the end customer. He will be responsible for the growth and development of the brand in India.
Chairman of the Board at Raheja QBE General Insurance Company Limited, Akshay Raheja, said, “We are excited to have Pankaj on board as we plan to grow our business multi-fold. I am confident that his experience and passion for building business will get us the desired growth and strengthen our position in the General Insurance industry. Over the next five years we plan to expand our footprints across the country with focus on tapping in to fast growing personal lines market.”
Raheja QBE General Insurance Company is a joint venture between Prism Johnson Limited and the QBE Holding (AAP) Pty Ltd a wholly owned subsidiary of QBE Insurance Group Limited, Australia.
