Chennai: It was the will of the Almighty Allah (God), that the NDA government for the second term should lead the destiny of the nation, once again, said the Prince of Arcot, Nawab Mohammed Abdul Ali, while congratulating Narendra Modi and Amit Shah-led BJP, over their handsome, historic victory for a second term, in the 17th Lok Sabha elections.
The Prince expressed the hope that the new government to be formed at the Centre will preserve and uphold secularism and democracy, as enshrined in the Constitution.
“The people of our great secular country, India, look at you and your government for good governance and equal rights to all in a peaceful atmosphere of co-existence of fellow citizens, irrespective of caste, creed or religion. The government should involve the minority communities in nation-building, which would be vital and essential for the stability and progress of the country in the future,” said a release from the Prince.
“Let us remember the world is better if we are united together,” he reminded.
