“I am a big fan of actor Suriya and I have watched many of his films including Kakka Kakka and Vaaranam Aayiram,” says actress Rakul Preet.
She plays one of the heroines in NGK starring Suriya. Directed by Selvaraghavan and bankrolled by Dream Warriors, the political thriller releases 31 May. Says Rakul Preet, “My character in the film is interesting. I have never played a role like this in terms of body language, the way she reacts, etc. It is very well written and individualistic role.”
On being part of a Selvaraghavan film, Rakul Preet says, “All credits to him. He handles everything in a mature way. You don’t just go and speak your lines. He makes you believe that you do it differently. Being part of a Selvah movie will help artistes see another angle to their actions that they have not seen so far. NGK taught me a lot.”
