Arun Vijay will begin shooting for his movie Boxer this June. The film revolves around a boxer and his turbulent journey of combating the evil within. Ritika Singh plays the role of a sports journalist. The rest of the cast would be announced soon. D Imman is composing music for this film. C S Balachandar handles art while editing is by Nadan. The highlight of the movie is stunts by Peter Hein. The movie would be directed Vivek. V Mathiyalagan produces the film for Etcetera Entertainment.
Says the filmmaker, “Arun Vijay trained hard in Vietnam to prepare for his role. In Boxer. He underwent training at Lein Phong in Vietnam. It wasnāt an easy deal as Arun Vijay had to train himself continuously for 8 hours a day. He is back in Chennai ready to begin shoot.”
