Chennai: A man was arrested for running an online sex racket and four women who were trapped in it were rescued by the police.
Sources said Suthan (24) from Kanyakumari was arrested from Masilamani Street, T Nagar, yesterday.
“He was staying at T Nagar for the past 20 days,” police said and added that in the guise of running a massage centre, Suthan trapped young girls into flesh trade through the internet.
A police Inspector posing as a customer met him at Masilamani Street to find out the truth. He was subsequently arrested. Four women who were rescued from there were sent to a government home. T Nagar police have registered a case.
