
Hyderabad: After Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and his AP counterpart Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy announced to resolve pending issues between the two States, transferring water from the Godavari to Krishna river was discussed yesterday.
According to media reports, senior engineering officials of both the States met and discussed about water sharing and other related issues, such requirements of the States. Further discussions are to take place next week.
It is to be noted that it has been five years since the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh. But a number of issues, such as sharing of assets and liabilities, river water, etc, remained unsolved.
