Chennai: The darshan of Lord Athi Varadar is reaching a milestone: it is day 25 today.
Every day, the deity is decked up in beautiful silk robes and several flower garlands. Today it was a light yellow silk robe with a beautiful green zari border.
Though it was raining today, people braved the rain and joined long queues to have Athi Varadar’s darshan.
RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat was the VIP devotee who had darshan of Athi Varadar today.
The other notable VIP pilgrim was actor Prabhu who came early in the day for darshan.
