Chennai: Vijayakanth’s son Shanmuga Pandian is busy acting in Mithran. He plays a police officer. Meanwhile, he has signed one more movie.
Sources say that his upcoming film will be directed by debutant Kasi Varman and it will be different from his previous films.
The project will be produced by K Productions, who has co-produced Pyaar Prema Kadhal and distributed Baahubali 2.
“The film will be an emotional drama with all commercial ingredients. An official announcement will be made in the coming week regarding the cast and crew. Major portions of the film will be shot in Chennai,” the source adds.
