Chennai: Chartered Accountant K S Muralidharan, who was the auditor for News Today, Maalai Sudar and Talk Media group of publications, passed away at West Mambalam here Wednesday. He was 71.
Muralidharan is survived by his wife Soundaravalli Muralidharan, son Jagan Muralidharan, daughter Deeptha Sriram, son-in-law Sriram Parthasarathy, grandsons Saketh Sriram and Vedant Sriram.
He had a fellowship in CA and was working as an auditor for the past three decades.
Muralidharan was well versed in Sanskrit and yoga. He had done several charitable works including educational assistance to many students.
Muralidharan along with T R Jawahar formed Murali Jawahar & Co in 1987. Jawahar later became the Editor of News Today and Muralidharan continued with the firm’s practice.
Muralidharan was an authority in Income Tax related matters and mentor to many CAs. His funeral will be held Friday.
