Chennai: The Met Department has predicted occurrence of light to moderate rain at isolated places over Tamilnadu and Puducherry today and tomorrow.
Rains lashed several parts of Chennai this morning including Selaiyur, Tambaram, Anna Nagar and Guindy among other places.
According to the chief amount of rainfall recorded this morning, Parangipettai (Cuddalore district) received 3 cm and Chennai and Tiruttani recorded 2 cm.
The department has further stated that the sky condition is likely to be cloudy in Chennai. ”Light rain is likely to occur in some areas. Maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to be around 31 and 25 degree Celsius, respectively.”
