The first look poster of Rana Daggubati’s Viraataparvam was released recently.
Touted as a political thriller, the director Venu Udugula took to Twitter to reveal the poster which depicts Sai Pallavi sitting by a stone pedestal of a large memorial with a book and pen in her hand, gazing into the distance, appearing to be waiting for someone.
The director wrote, ‘Why does she alone beside the pillar commemorating the martyrs amidst the forest? For whom is she waiting for? What words will she fill in her diary? What does she carry in the bag that rests next to her? Answers to these questions will be revealed upon release.'(sic)
Rana Daggubati also shared the poster on social media and wrote, ‘To my co-star and comrade Sai Pallavi, wishing you a very happy birthday. May the might of the pen, and compelling stories always journey with you.’ (sic)
Produced under the banner of Suresh Productions and Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas, Viraataparvam also stars Nandita Das, Priyamani, Zareen Wahab, and Eeswari Rao in crucial roles.
