Chennai: Dr V Shanta, chairperson of Adyar Cancer Institute, received 500 PPE kits and N 95 masks to the doctors of the healthcare facility, from WICCI Tamilnadu Social Service Council and Maheshwara Medical College & Hospital.

Women’s Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s newly launched WICCI Tamilnadu Social Service Council in association with ‘Sankalp Beautiful World’ joined hands with Maheshwara Medical College & Hospital, Hyderabad in the initiative by distributing 500 ‘Breathe Safe N95 Masks’ to the doctors of Adyar Cancer Institute.

State president Varsha Aswani and State vice-president, Radhika Dhruv met Dr Shanta on Friday at Adyar Cancer institute, Chennai. Acknowledging the gesture, Shanta expressed her gratitude by encouraging the council and wishing them a good luck as this was their first and significant social service after the launch on 8 August.
