Chennai: Tamilnadu, a land rich in cultural heritage, is a treasure house of fine arts. The State is home for abundant talent that has been nurtured from time to time.

Come December, the city of Chennai is agog with an explosion of fine arts and culture, a season that draws people from far and wide. There are 150 plus sabhas in the city which cater to thirsty audience.

With the pandemic, there is a challenge in bringing about live shows this season. In the meantime, Rotary District 3232, in a first-of-its- kind initiative has set the ball rolling with its Rotary Sabha with the tagline ‘Conclave of Cultures’.

The Rotary Sabha aims at nurturing young talent. The virtual platform is a medium that enables the connect with artistes who also enjoy performing from the comfort of their homes.

District governor of Rotary District 3232 S Muthupalaniappan said, “this Rotary Sabha will come to stay in the years to come; we have made this a platform to nurture abundant in-house talent and showcase them to the world.”
