Chennai: Tamilnadu Deputy Chief Minister O Panneerselvam today visited the Koyambedu wholesale vegetable, fruits and flowers market and reviewed the situation there.
It may be noted that traders have requested to reopen the market. Following the visit Panneerselvam will hold discussions with traders at the Secretariat. At present the market is functioning at Thirumazhisai.
It was shifted to the suburb after large number of Covid-19 cases were reported from Koyambedu market, where thousands visited everyday to buy and sell goods.
