Chennai: Tamilnadu Governor Banwarilal Purohit and Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami have greeted Prince of Arcot, Nawab Mohammed Abdul Ali on his 50th wedding anniversary.
A statement said Purohit telephoned to Abdul Ali, and wished him and his wife, Begum Sayeeda Abdul Ali, a happy wedding anniversary.
“He blessed the couple and extended his prayers to them for long life with success and prosperity in their endeavours.”
The Governor commended the Prince of Arcot for his continued services in the promotion of communal harmony and national integration in the country. The Prince of Arcot thanked the Governor for the greetings, it added.
Palaniswami has tweeted his wishes to Abdul Ali and his wife. “I pray to the Almighty to give them both many more years of good health and happiness,” said the Chief Minister.
