Chennai: Tamilnadu government has said government offices will function on all Saturdays till December.
The statement was issued in response to government employees’ request asking the government to cancel the six-day-work week plan. As part of its phased exit plan from Covid-19 induced lockdown and to compensate for the loss of working days, the State government on 16 May introduced six-days-a-week work plan, including Saturdays, for all government employees.
