Chennai: Chennai Super Kings pulled off a five wicket win against champions Mumbai Indians in the opener of IPL 2020.The ‘Men in Yellow’ are ready to face Rajasthan Royals tomorrow.

All eyes are on Dhoni, who maintained calm when Mumbai openers were going great guns and rotated his bowlers well to pick wickets at regular intervals to restrict mighty Mumbai for a par score. Piyush Chawla and Ngidi coming good in that match should augur well for CSK.

The all-rounder show by Sam Curran and the gritty knock by Ambatti Rayudu and de Flessis is seen as positive sign.

However, there a few worries for CSK. The miserable fielding which has a majority of players above 35 years, Jadeja leaking too many runs and miserable show by openers Watson and Murali Vijay should be points to ponder.

For Rajasthan Royals led by Steve Smith, it is their opening encounter this IPL. Rajasthan will once again bank on their four overseas superstars to rally the rest of the squad.

In Steve Smith, Ben Stokes (his participation is still up in the air), Jofra Archer and Jos Buttler, they have four of the brightest talents in world cricket, all of whom are very much in their prime. Rajasthan finished seventh in last IPL.

They have young Yashasvi Jaiswal, the seasoned Robin Uthappa, and South African hard-hitter David Miller to strengthen their batting. Among bowlers, Andrew Tye, Oshane Thomas, Tom Curran and young Kartik Tyagi are there.
