Chennai: PMK founder Dr S Ramadoss today sought the intervention of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in re-opening the Ahmedabad Tamil Higher Secondary school at Maninagar in Gujarat from where he was elected to the State Assembly during his tenure as Chief Minister of that State.

In a tweet, Ramadoss said he was saddened to note that the school was closed citing reduction in students admission.

He said the school was located at Maninagar from where Modi was elected to the Gujarat Assembly during his tenure as the Chief Minister.

“Mr Modi, who has love and respect for Tamil, should intervene and take immediate steps to re-open the school”, Dr Ramadoss said.

He also urged the Tamilnadu government to contact the Gujarat goverment and take steps to re-open the school.
