Bengaluru: A CBI Special Court has remanded former Karnataka Minister and Congress leader Vinay Kulkarni, arrested by the CBI in connection with the murder of BJP leader Yogeesh Gouda Goudar, in 14 days judicial custody.
A BJP district panchayat member, Gouder was killed on 15 June, 2016 by unidentified men in his gym. The CBI had arrested Kulkarni after interrogating him on 5 November.
Kulkarni was the Mines and Geology Minister in the Siddaramaiah-led Congress government when the incident took place.
Hearing the matter through video conference, the court ordered 14 days judicial custody till 23 November.
