Chennai: Tamilnadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami has greeted his Bihar counterpart Nitish Kumar, who has assumed charge as Chief Minister for a record fourth time.

In his greetings, Palaniswami said, “I congratulate you on your assumption of charge as the Chief Minister of Bihar for a record fourth time and wish you a successful tenure”, an official release said.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other leaders have also congratulated Nitish Kumar on taking oath as Chief Minister of Bihar.

In a tweet, the Prime Minister said, “Congratulations to Nitish Kumar Ji on taking oath as Bihar’s CM. I also congratulate all those who took oath as Ministers in the Bihar Government. The NDA family will work together for the progress of Bihar. I assure all possible support from the Centre for the welfare of Bihar.”
