Chennai: Britannia Industries Limited has announced the expansion of its manufacturing plant in Khordha, Odisha to keep up with the growing demand for bakery products and packaged food.
The company said it is investing Rs 94 crore to add two new manufacturing lines that will increase its production capacity by nearly 85 per cent, to 65,000 metric tonnes from the current 35,000 metric tonnes per annum.
The new capacities in Odisha will be operational by October, 2022, it added.
